Avoid Compulsory logins by sharing Login Details
Okay, I know the title sounds Kooky at first sight but here’s what its all about.
Scenario : You’re browsing the web and you click a link to an article on a site but instead of getting the article you get a screen asking you to login or register. But you do not want to give away your Personal Info just like that.
Solution : This is in continuation of my Previous Post – Temporary Email Accounts. Now, Most of the time we do not register on websites because we are wary to registering using our real information. It is true that you can easily use a temporary disposable email address to sign up and then verify your membership in order to be a member of the website. But i dont think that it is ever worth the hassle….atleast for me it has never been….
So the solution is to obtain login credentials from people who already have them and use it…..no i am not going to teach you phishing….atleast not right now…..;)
Here’s a very useful website which “shares” logins so you don’t have to waste your time in registering an account to access a website that requires compulsory registration and thus bypass divulging your personal information.
BugMeNot.com is a really good place to ” Find and share logins for websites that force you to register”. All the login details listed here are added by users. So if the first login don’t work, keep trying with the next. Also you can help the whole idea by rating whether the login details worked for you or not and if you can’t find a working login for a site then you can register with that site using fake details and then do BugMeNot a favor by adding to the list for others to use. After all, “Sharing is Caring”….Pardon my bad jokes.
To find login for a website, just visit BugMeNot.com, type the website address and click on the “Get Logins” button. It will then show you the list of logins found with username, password and also the success rate. If you see a low percentage of success rate, chances are it won’t work. So don’t bother wasting your time in trying to use that login.
There are various ways to use bug me not….
