Google becomes more smart : gives Movie dates

You can already do plenty of calculations and conversions right in Google’s search box, and it looks like the company’s now made it even smarter still. Searching for the title of an upcoming movie or video game plus “release date” will now instantly give you Google’s best guess for when the title will actually be released ( which i guess is apparently based on how often it’s been mentioned on certain websites).

Searches for movie and video game release dates are now showing what Google thinks is the best answer based on info that it finds on various websites. As you can see in the image above, just use the name of the movie or game and add “release date” to the query to get search results like this. Google shows what it thinks the release date will be and also lists the sources it used.

The sources list includes the relevant text from each page so you can quickly verify whether the webpages seem reputable and whether our algorithms correctly interpreted the context of the answer.

Update : I tried with various other queries and its not just movies and video games, Google also provides answers for “who is the prime minister of india ??” and “How old is Ashley Greene ??” (Just 25….mannn 🙂 )
